Rocks/ Rock Cycle Rocks are naturally occurring, they're solid, and made out of one or more minerals. There are three types of rocks and they are: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. Igneous rocks forms when hot, liquid rocks cools and solidifies. Intrusive and extrusive are the two types of igneous rocks. Listen to a rock cycle song, and provide students with the lyrics to illustrate. Provide students with an alternative to writing and making a trifold by creating a multi‐ media presentation. Allow students to provide examples of each rock and go more in depth with the rock cycle description.
