pfSense is a free, open sourced and specialized FreeBSD distribution adapted as a firewall and router. In addition to having a powerful and flexible firewall and router platform , it also has a long feature list and packet system . I started off by first downloading pfSense version 2.0.1 ISO. There are several options to choose from, but I went with pfSense-2.0.1-RELEASE-amd64.iso.gz. This package needs to be extracted, then the ISO can be used to boot the VM. Little preparation first: Create a Hyper-V VM with two Legacy Virtual NICs.
I'm (temporarily) in charge of a network where pfSense 2.0.1 is basically running the whole routing I do have full access to the main pfSense console, but as you can see in this photograph, my sorry...Perhaps the most interesting about the openvpn log on pfsense is that there is nothing there at all. only some from login attempts made months ago when I last tried to get this working but gave up – Mathias Nielsen Oct 1 '15 at 20:45
