  • There is an update posted on the Grayguns VP9 Heredity Thread and an explanation given by Rick, one of Bruce Gray's gun smiths. The complex VP9 frame was pronounced now to be a non-issue. The trigger bar spring and bearing was also pronounced a non issue. Very interesting reading. Bill

Vickers was using his HK VP9 with Grayguns action work on the trigger for the first time. Granted LAV is a fantastic handgun shooter, but the man was truly/literally ecstatic with his results and we who were watching were blown away.
The most famous example is the Glock New York trigger that weighs approx 8 lbs, and even worse is the New York plus that has a trigger pull weight of 12 lbs. Remember if your pistol weighs 2 lbs loaded, and you have an 8 pound trigger pull, it will take 4 times the loaded weight of the the handgun to make it fire.
Trying to decide between these two triggers for my VP9. I like the look of the Lobos better and I'm not sure how I feel about the LWG trigger being completely flat. I intend to eventually send in the gun to GrayGuns or Lazy Wolf for a full action job, could this be done with either trigger or would it have to be the LWG trigger?
